Ditch the Monday Blue

Lay weakened sleep-ins may bring on the Monday blues. Research suggests that the slump we feel at the beginning of a new week may come down to our weakened sleeping habit. Professor Leon Lack from Adelaide’s Flinders University had found that sleeping in an extra 2 hours on a weakened delay the body locks by 45 minutes. This mean you are less sleeping on Sunday night leaving you tired the next day “If you’re catching up on lot sleep, it’s better to have a brief nap during Saturday or Sunday rather that sleeping in very late,” says Lack “ If you do over sleep, get outside and into the sun as early as possible”

BEAT THE SLEEP LAG

· Avoid the weekend “recovery” get 8 hour sleep each weeknight

· Set a sleep in limit go to bed earlier on a Saturday night and keep your sleep in short “ wake no later than an hour part your weekend rise time “ says Lack.

· Get out into the “Even if you’re late to bed still get up within an hour past your weekday rise time” say Lack .Bright light rest your body clock “ Get out into the sun and have a midday nap instead.

I Wish

I believed all of us dreamed to have brighter future, have goal to accomplish, and to have a successful life. Don’t be afraid to dream above the sky. Follow what you’re heart desire. Your life can be what you want it to be. We have many choices in life , and because of many choices sometimes we go in the wrong way, sometimes we made a wrong decision in life, and when it happened .Don’t be afraid to accept your imperfections .Be yourself But you need to stand for your mistake and learned from it. Where there a will There a wont but there also a way .There are hindrances and obstacle that you need to experience to be strong and you need to experience resentment to gain confidence, Don’t be afraid to failed to have a will to succeed. Because some of us are good starter but not good finisher .If you want accomplishment Do something your future depend on what you doing in the present .Make a plan put your plan in to action ,Work hard for it .Be patience and have faith With faith nothing is impossible, Hold your dreams in your mind but also in your hand . Your determination lead to your success, it is your choice. There so many things that are future depend on but mostly it is in YOU ….God guided you but YOU need to work for it.

Other side of mine…

Life is a gift from God, Life is a challenge that God gave us

But when God gave life,

He can’t promise that, we never suffered

He can’t promise that, we have a perfect life

He can’t promise that, were not encounter problem

He can’t promise that, we not experience dying

One thing that I know He promise, He guided us from all of that

When we need help, try to call Him, He just waiting

When you’re afraid, try to seek Him

When we felt weak, call Him to be your strength

When you are sad / mad, Call Him to be you’re happiness

When you are in the dark, called him to be your light…

Thanks to my inspiration…..because of you I create this in just 10 minutes

I hope you guys like it…

I hope you can share also your knowledge about Him based on your experience.

Regardless to your religion,

“Street Foods”

May 2008 before the class started. I have experienced a situation that I will never forget in my life .it is all about my favorite food before, but not now like (fish ball, palamig and all the street food). I remember after I enrolled in college (1st year) while waiting for the class to start. I enjoyed eating and strolling in the park. I saw many food out there, different vendors, foods they sale in the side of the street and of course a lot of buyers. I enjoyed seeing them and I told to myself “ Siguro masarap ang tinda nila madaming bumibili ih! Mura pa.” So I decided to experience it by my own. It’s great! I liked the taste, especially the fishball and kikiam (hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm sarap!!) So when I already taste it, It became a habit of mine; Even my mom told me not too.”Ikaw talagang bata ka, kain ka ng kain ng mga yan. Baka pagsaktan ka ng tiyan” I’m not listened to her. I liked the savor of it.

One afternoon; I’m hungry. I go outside and while walking along the street. I saw 1 vendor selling street foods. At first, I don’t like to buy because the foods look nasty, but since I’m hungry I tried to buy some. 10 pesos of fish ball and 5 pesos of palamig satisfy my tummy. Then I went home. After I eat unexpectedly I took a nap. After 1 to 2 hours I felt that my body is hot. I felt so nauseated and cold, so I decided to stay in the room. When my mom touched my head she told me that I have fever. So I need to take some medicine over the counter. After 6 hours. I’m still suffering from fever, I started vomiting, all the content of my stomach (as in!). I felt so crazy, I vomit every minute even my stomach is empty. My mom prepared a soup for me, but all the food I ate stays in my stomach just for a minute. I was constantly stressful. It was getting worst. I felt dehydrated by that time, so my mom decided to send me to the nearest hospital. In the hospital they started inserting the I.V to me and took some blood for the laboratory test. I stayed in the hospital for almost five days. (I hate that). My doctor told me that I need to be more vigilant when it comes to the food I ate. Especially when I am not sure that the preparation is clean (the sanitation). When I discharge in the hospital I promised to myself that I will never buy and eat those foods again. The food itself is not bad but the preparation of it, is what we’re not sure about. We need to be aware of what are the foods that were going to eat. Sometimes those foods satisfy our hungry but we need to be aware if it is healthy to our body or not.

Now, being a student nurse all the knowledge that I learned was being used in my daily life. I am very thankful that I took up BSN. I remember what my professor said “That microorganism gives illness or worst it kills the giant person, because of our ignorance of the fact that we need to be aware to everything.
